Update and a older tag

Here I am again. Just a short note to say that Gizmo came through her little surgery well. I picked her up at 3 p.m. yesterday and she slept until this morning. Animals are so great. They don't know they are supposed to be bedridden after surgery so she is pretty happy to walk around and jump up on the bed without much discomfort. I gave her the pain medication this morning anyway (just to be safe) and she is now sleeping again. She doesn't appear to be mad at me...lol.
I don't know if I did too much yesterday or what, but my back is acting up today. Not horrible, but worse then the previous day. I guess I'm just going to have to learn how to manage this for the rest of my life. Oh well.
That's it for now. I am slowly catching up with all your blogs and will continue to do that today. Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm. It's brrrrrr cold here.
Hugs, Joyce

  5. Glad Gizmo is doing well. Now, about your back........take it easy. I suffer too with back pain........Ugh! Sometimes I use those Thermacare stick on patch things....it helps most of the time and you can walk around with it attached to the area that hurts.

  8. Good to see you here. I try all different things for my back. Odd the exercises at Curves doesn't bother much but just walking across the street does. Glad Gizmo is doing well. One of my daughter's cats had a terrible accident and is in the hospital.

  11. Hiya Joyce :)
I'm glad Giz is doing good!
Yea, these dadgum back problems are a pain in the ... well, in the back! And you kinda do get use to them, until you get a twinge. Those throw ya for a loop, then it's back to what I call the ghost feeling - it's not a lot of pain, but you can feel something there, all day, every day, you know what I mean?
Hope yours clears up or eases off very soon!
    Hugs,
    Phyllis
