Picture Day

This is the photo I took of my neighbor across the street riding last week.
I had to zoom so it's not the best.

Here is a shot of the gazebo in the apartment complex.
The trees are called Bradford Pears (because of shape not fruit)
and are already losing their white blossoms. A slight breeze makes
it look like it's snowing.

Interesting information at the gravesite of Meriwether Lewis.

The monument over his grave.

Beautiful Redbud trees (even though they are purple/pink)
out on the Nachez Trace Parkway.
No telephone or power poles or billboards. Wonderful drive.
Not sure what these are but they are pretty.

Here is #1 Son, who took me for this fun ride on Sunday.
Such a good son.
Small waterfall and nature walk.

Dogwood tree in bloom. I love it when the Dogwood are blooming.
That is sooooo Spring!
Information about the Nachez Trace.

Have a wonderful week everyone.
Hugs,

  3. All the pictures are so nice. My redbud tree is pretty too but I don't take a picture of it because it is next to my neighbor's big welding machine on a trailer.

  7. Very cool! I'm glad you and your son had such a great time. The pics are great, and I can hardly wait to see the same thing up here. I LOVE redbud trees, and they really thrive here.

  8. Beautiful pictures Joyce. I once, many years ago, beyond memory, recorded for the blind a book about Lewis and Clarke. They were just as intersting after their famous trail. DB
