SNOW PLEASE...

I had a lovely birthday and I appreciate all the nice birthday comments. Thank you all.

Several people have mentioned my profile picture. Of course, it is a photo of my mother holding me. My oldest son resurrected it a couple of years ago and had it made into an 8 X 10 and framed for me as a Mother's Day gift. As you can see, I also made a tag out of it. I do love this picture and often wish I had gotten one taken of me and my daughter when she was a baby. I don't know why I didn't think to do that. Oh well! She's 36 now so I guess it's too late for that kind of shot. LOL.

The weather has turned cold again. We had several days in the upper 50's and even the low 60's but today it won't get out of the 20's and tonight is predicted to be 13 degrees. This has been a crazy year with the yo-yo temperatures, not to mention the ice storms and snow in lot's of places. I still wish we'd see one good snow before Spring. I know, I'm nuts.

When I was a young kid I saw lot's of snow living in Germany, Switzerland and in the states in Connecticut and Washington DC (military brat). But my dad retired to Florida when I was a young teen and as an adult I lived in California and here in TN. So my kids and grand kids have been snow deprived and it's been many years for me as well. Now I'm really a warm weather person and am perfectly happy when it is between 80 and 90 degrees, but if it has to get cold, the least it could do is snow a little for us. LOL.
