Hello y'all. I just don't know where the time is going this week. Can you believe I have actually been busy? LOL. I've gotten a lot of personal stuff done around the house, visited my dentist for some minor work, took Gizmo to the Vet to have her weighed and put her on a diet. Yep, I guess I have been over feeding her and before it got out of hand I wanted some advise. One thing is...she doesn't get enough exercise. She's a lazy butt. My grandson has promised to spend some time playing with her every afternoon. He can wind her up better than anyone else. For her own health, I don't want her to get too over weight.
Today I got to have lunch with a couple of old friends that I haven't seen for quite a while. We had the best time and promised we wouldn't let time get away from us again. We made plans to go to a town closer to the plant we all worked in and meet up with some other friends over there sometime in February. I am looking forward to that as well.
That's it for now. I hope everyone is having a great week and looking forward to a better weekend. I know a lot of folks are dealing with weather issues and power outages. My prayers are with them all.

Hi Joyce. lol Gizmo has to keep her girlish figure! Glad you had a good time with your friends. I just spent a couple of hours with one of my cousins that I don't see very often although he lives close by. Lots of fun :)......
ReplyDeleteWe have found that some simple toys will have the kitten form her own excercise. Balls, mices, a catnip chew/dental toy, or our favorite, a beanie baby with catnip rubbed over it.
ReplyDeleteit's hard not to spoil cats...lol but i'm sure Gizmo will be fine. Lunch sounded fun good if you can get together regularly.

So what you do around the house? You left me hanging. LOL... Feb 2 is your BD? That was the BD of a little girl who used to follow me around when I was a little girl. She was very special to me. I hope to take some flowers to her grave on her BD. She died when she was about 4.
