Well, here we all are. More and more folks from J-Land are showing up every day and I'm loving that. I think once we all get the hang of this blogger it will be better than what we had at AOL.

Boy, it's cooled off considerably here. When I got up this morning it was only 46 degrees. It has warmed up to 65 and the high is supposed to be 72 so that will feel good.

Oktoberfest is not this weekend but next so everyone is getting ready for it. The 10 miles yard sale will start on Wednesday next week, so people are already roping off their area so no one snags if away. I'm lucky to be right on the route so my yard is all mine. Of course I don't need the whole yard and will share with whoever wants a space. I already have two friends that have asked me about it and I told them to get what they want roped off by this weekend or it will be first come, first serve. There are thousands of people that come from all over for this so it is the perfect time to unload unwanted items from your home. One man's junk...

That's it for now. We are all still learning to navigate this blogger but so far, I like it.

Have a great day everyone, Joyce

  2. Hi Joyce! I've already noticed a couple people getting their blogs all decked out with pretty fall layouts, so I think everyone is starting to like it! Ken has already said that he's kind of glad for this move, because he's liking this a lot better--lots more features, the ability to get all the feeds on Google Reader, etc. Sometimes things happen for a reason, eh?

    Enjoy your day!

  4. Yes, it's feeling a little better here at "the Spot". We have Riverfest this weekend - I usually steer clear of it! Now I need to learn how to fancy up my page!

  6. It's extremely cool here, in the
50's. LOL...I don't like change but if I get lots of help and suggestions I can deal with it and move on. This does seem much less difficult than other blog spots. It is great to see so many familiar faces. We will make this our new home, for sure. HUGS

  10. I'm enjoying it just fine over here in blogger land.
Looks like everyone is doing just fine doesn't it?
Have a good Friday and good weekend Joyce. Hopefully I'll be plugging away a little more in the group this weekend. The blogger thing has taken over my attention span this week.

  11. We're getting the hang of it, and I think most of us like to make the best of things. It's getting nicely cool here as well. We have our annual camping trip this weekend, and it looks like it's shaping up to be a good campfire weekend.

  12. I agree, I think this is going to be wonderful for all of us once we get the hang of it. I'm soooo envious about the 10 miles of yard sales....how fun. Trouble is, I would be afraid to spend my money on the first miles in case I found better stuff on the last miles!!! LOL!
